Maintenance & Replacement Agreement

The Maintenance & Replacement (M&R) Agreement is not required in connection with this Rent/Purchase. If requested by the Renter, the cost of the M&R agreement for the term of the Contract is a set monthly price which includes sales tax (there are different prices for different instrument categories, see store for specific pricing). In the event the Renter does not purchase the M&R agreement, the renter will assume full responsibility for the care of the instrument. (Please note, certain categories of instruments will qualify for maintenance only coverage and not M&R. This will be notated on your contract. Please contact High School Music Service for any questions regarding coverage type.)

Maintenance

All adjustments and repairs to keep the instrument in proper playing condition, including those caused by normal wear and tear and accidental damage, shall be performed free of any additional charge under the terms of this agreement. Broken woodwind mouthpieces will be replaced at one half the retail value plus applicable sales tax. All repairs must be made by High School Music Service. Any attempt to repair the instrument by others will void this coverage.
